You must drive a car.

Drive a big truck and people won't dare give you the finger, the look, or anything else out of fear; when you don't use the turn signal.

More like "Hey, no problem. I'm cool. Keep on rolling, big guy. Heck, I'm GLAD you failed to let me know you were turning."

I'm actually one of the turd heads you are ranting about. I rarely use a turn signal. Not sure why. Just habit.

At normal intersections and turns, it's no big deal. But I do get ticked when someone is turning off onto some obscure road and fail to put on a turn signal. They are pushing their luck of getting a Dodge Ram with Lee Ann Womak blasting crammed up their trunk.

The REASON they are not used is

because if you turn them on a game of chicken ensues.

"Oh my gawd!, don't let him in at any cost!!"

I swear when I put my signal on the cars behind me speed up in some form of weird penis envy trying to prevent my lane change. It is totally weird.

Perhaps it is easier to change lanes without a signal.

(Funny immediately after 911 this behavior disappeared for about a week, then the old habits returned. I guess we really did not learn anything from the WTC.)

Only thing is that at 80mph when one of these bozos herds his horse, I mean car, in front of me he just may sever his spine for that lack of warning.

It's really a shame they may never ever again be able to hug or feel their children for their careless lane change.

ROTF Big Guy...

Certainly one of my pet peeves... you'll be pleased to hear this... ksquared signals BEFORE she hits the brake to make the turn... lets the Jersey jerkoff tailgater sitting on her ass know that she is about to slow down... also known to tap the brake pedal for the light show to give the backdoor rider du jour a heads up before slowing down...

Cracking up ONEBGG... I see so many people in their fancy current year vehicles making turns without signaling that my gut reaction is always... doesn't that over-priced piece of sh*t come with turn signals... drives me batty... but so it goes...

For me, putting on the turn signal is an automatic part of the steering involved in making the turn itself...

Think I'm going to LOVE this board... with you all the way on it... will reply to the PM shortly... ;-)

All bests,
ksquared

P.S... bet we could come up with a Rant du Jour... ;-) ROTF...

GREAT IDEA!!! you northwestern genius you...
