No, they clearly gained money if they bought at .0009. That is simple math.
However...as I said, money is not made or lost on the stock market...it just exchanges hands. So if I made money on that trade, then someone else lost it somewhere else along the line. And if that person who bought at .0009 ALSO made money --- then someone else ALSO lost somewhere along the line.
(Look - why argue over stupid SEMANTICS. It could have been 10 people who lost $100 or one person who lost $1000. Just because I said "someONE" doesn't mean it was just ONE person. JEESH! The time and quantity of my trades is meaningless too, because it can be split into 3 or 4 different trades from the broker - which it usually is when you buy and sell in big levels.)
And whether I made money or lost money does not make SKGO a good or bad stock - it makes ME think it is a good stock right now.
And...it doesn't change my opinion that this will still be pretty good for a mid term play to at least double from this level.
Could I be wrong? Of course.
That goes without saying. This is the stock market. Duh.
You are very angry, and it seems to be because I simplified my mathematics. If it makes you happy, it wasn't exactly $1000 either. I rounded up a bit from 9 hundred something.
Good luck!
