Wall_rus, the point is that it really doesn't matter. If Sarah is not being sincere, then she's a sell-out. If she is being sincere, then she's naive. Either way, she's a mouth-piece, and not a leader, much in the same way that Bush was.
Apparently, some lobbyists believe they can win with the same formula that elected George W. Bush: take a naive, born-again religious conservative with no brains to compensate for their huge egos, and put them in a suit and have them memorize a series of talking points that puts them in a position where they rule in image alone, as a puppet whose strings are pulled by the lobbying powers that rigged their election.
Who needs a Democracy, when you have lobbying powers that can elect a figure-head president who simply does what they are told? That's how the Bush administration worked, and that's how they intend the Palin administration to work.
