You are so right! I caught C-SPAN's re-play of Sarah Palin's $100,000 speech to teabaggers and the short Q&A session afterwards...listening to her is pure entertainment - even better than Tina Fey!
SP: "I pay no attention to the main stream media's criticism of us"
then less than 10 minutes later...
SP: "The main stream media made a big deal over my speaking fee, which I will be able to donate to the cause". Huh? She pays no attention, yet she is aware of media criticism. Will be able to donate - is not I will donate. And, "donate to the cause" - what "cause"?
During the short Q&A session the mod had a few pre-arranged questions and one was about her son in the military...Sarah proudly proclaimed "he is 21 years old and has never watched C-SPAN". God forbid her son learns something!!!
Another question from the mod...We know what President Obama's Plan is, what's yours? Sarah responded with cutesy one-liners, which is all her audience needs to hear. They gave her a standing O.
I noticed Palin invoked Ronald Reagan's name many times, obviously unaware Reagan worked with the Dems including playing cards at night with House Leader "Tip" O'Neill (D-MA). BTW, not once did she mention The Decider's name.
Sarah Palin is an empty vessel - here's hoping she speaks more frequently.
