Considering the intelligence on Iran's nuclear program, the situation
in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, and last but not least the American
deficit position, a war with Iran just doesn't make any sense at all.

Odds are Palin was channeling Buchanan and i still think a war with Iran is most probably unlikely.
