I don't have any issues with that at all. What I have an issue with is getting banned for asking for proof from certain posters who make claims of comapany's being crooks. How is it they can make claims such as this without any repercussions?
Proof is not a requirement of posting. Each reader determines the credibility of each post for themselves.
Firelane told me I was banned before I was banned. How would he know?
Probably by knowing what causes users to get banned.
I thought this site was for investors to have a forum to discuss and share knowledge about a company they invested in. The key word is discussion.
Owning stock is not a requirement for posting. All opinions are welcome and encouraged as long as they are on-topic and comply with the site's rules.
So what is someone to do when you have posters making wild unfounded claims, defamitory claims that MAY or may not be true and you ask them to provide information that will back it up their claim?
Refute the claims with your own facts and opinions, or ignore them.
When I asked him if he was part of the law suit he lied and said no.
Probably not. No posters have been sued in the suit to which you were referring. It's irrelevant in any event. Posters here are not the topic of the board, and frivolous lawsuits and silly press releases don't trump that.
The way it seems to me is as long as you follow what along with the pumpers and bashers then you are fine but the minute you try and verify some of these outlandish claims made you are banned.
Not true at all. A ban is the result of conduct that is not permitted as described in the User Agreement.
I have tried to find info out on them but I have found nothing so far that would indicate that they are in fact crooks as Marine-1 stated in numorous posts.
Whether or not you are able to satisfy yourself isn't relevant in the least. Your inability to support someone else's views doesn't mitigate their ability to express them.
