RBlatch: No actually we have a sunny day down here in Austin, Texas, close to 50 degrees. We moved to Texas for several reasons, one of them was that I detest winter. We've had a colder winter than usual. But my natural gas bill for January was $65. That's for cooking, two water heaters and our furnace. So our version of a cold winter is certainly not as bad as what others have to endure 'up north'. I'm just doing my weekend financial and political analyzing. These are trecherous markets and constant vigilance is needed to maximize the opportunities and avoid the pitfalls. Later, we'll be off for Texas BBQ and some good music down in Gruene Hall in Gruene, Texas. The oldest dance hall in Texas. Something like 140 years old and still going strong. Texas is a great place, it really is, if you can escape (or at least learn to endure) the hot, hot summers. We still have our problems, but economically we're better off than most of the rest of the US. I'm grateful every day that we don't live in California, Michigan, New Jersey, Illinois or any of the other economic state basket cases.
