Nice post El Hefe you bring some common sense to the table. DEan should hire a leading radiologist as a spokesperson and have them walk that 510K right through the FDA. Until then I think we may see lower lows as we drift into lala land. The pps has held of late which is good news but I have no clue where this heading.

well put, elhefe. as i said in an earlier post - dean appeared to have "irrational exburence" during the dec. cc. that was surprising to me for someone who had dealt with the FDA so many times in the past. i did see him on yesterday's money tv appearance and he looked a lot more confident then the previous appearance. i believe they'll eventually make it.

ElHefe, I think you hit on the tip of the iceburg. Ive followed this board since i bought my imgg shares in sept. 2009 , but have never posted . I have thought that the fda has held off approval due to the microscope the national media has put on anything to do with scanners, x-rays , radiation , etc...
It started about the same time that" stephane spealman" died of breast cancer(late 2009), when oficials of the scientific community started fighting about the proper age for women start getting mamograms. The media went nuts! !
Then on top of that , just as that settled down , some idiot tries to set off a bomb on a plane christmas day , and the media goes nuts!! (mega scanners in all airports asap!!) Now they want to track how many scans and x-rays americans have in their lifetime to make sure they don't get to much radiation ??? I furmly believe that the fda will not approve the dominion until the fear of any media attention is gone.
Its just bad timing . On one hand ,we watch the news to how the dominion would be the perfect fit for every aspect of these news stories. On the other hand ,we can also understand how scared the fda is to have this product up for approval at the exact same time as the the worlds media has it under its microscope( better safe than sorry).I don't mean to ramble, but I just feel that this has alot more to do with the holdup by the fda than any of us could imagine. I just can't believe that it hasn't been discussed more.
