SWKS is your best bet in the wireless semi area IMHO. Quite a bit of background below, including recent comments from CSFB via Jim Cramer's column, which has apparently lit the rocket fuel under SWKS the past two days.

"Do you have any thoughts on TQNT as a company?"

Lane...

I still think it is early on TQNT, and think it may be a candidate for a take over (or take/under) at some point. They have a cleaner balance sheet than most, but there is still some air in it. Their basic problem is that their end markets are dead and show no signs of life, and in the back of my mind, I still question the long term viability of GaAs on the assumption that another, less expensive solution might be found. Given that, I see the current valuation as reasonable, if not a touch high.

Keep in mind that you are asking someone who is having trouble with his timing chain today - I was early this morning with VSEA and QLGC. I added KLAC a little while ago (short) at $39.68 but I am not in love with any of them. So far, I am slightly ahead with KLAC, underwater in VSEA and QLGC, with JPM adding just a bit to yesterday's gains. My crystal ball is not working very well in this market the past few days - I guess I need to take it in for a tune-up.

Good luck to you.
