Unfortunately, many people like yourself have been brainwashed since the late forties into that kind of thinking. Hell, half the political parties in Europe call themselves Socialist.
I could use the word Capitalism in the same way. Do YOU understand the nature of pure Capitalism? It's winner takes all, isn't it? Currently it's an especially virulent form of it that is at the root of our problems. And this is what you're so proud of?
A fair and properly run country has to have elements of both. This extreme "either/or" posturing is duplicitous nonsense.
