Let KEN and his crew decide what is good for KATX and it's shareholders. We can only speculate.

It all depends on the deals at hand and whats in the ground. If there is alot in the ground, then KATX would mostlikely stand to make more from a JV then a sell of the property. Ken knows this and thus has stated he wants to JV for that property, not simply sell it off.

Some of the other properties it might be better for KATX to sell instead of JV on it. Ken again has made it clear he has no problem selling these properties, but he will not sell the ones he believes are of great value to the company.

If KATX told any of it's properties, then yes, there is a chance that we could get royalty payments based on a % of whats in the ground. Even though we would no longer own the land, it is quite coming for a company to get x % of profits of whats in the ground on these types of deals. Doesn't mean it will happen, but it would be quite possible.

Another thing that would be possible is a JV, with a buy out option for the company we partner with. Ths would allow us to opperate with them as a JV for a period of time, and then after that, they would have the option to buy the property outright from us and be the sole owner of it. These types of deals also often include royalty payments to the orginal owner of the property, many times for the life time of the mining there.

So there are quite a few outcomes and possbilities here. These are just a few of the options at hand. But to answer your question, yes royalitys could be part of any deal we do.
