Re: it is obvious that the government has not protected us from "Corporatism".
Sure it has! Can you imagine what these corporations could do today if they could spend their money completely unrestricted from anything illegal??
Drug companies could sell us pills with completely unrestricted side effects. And if these pills kill a few people, there are no laws to protect against it. We could take them to court, and it's their money against ours. We would lose. And there will be no alternatives, when these companies bury their competitors with their huge amounts of cash.
You would also start seeing sweatshops set up along the border with illegal immigrants working for $5 per day crank out all of the country's industry, while millions go unemployed.
You would be seeing e-coli outbreaks all over the country, and instead of getting a recall, you would get a coupon for more dirty meat. And then you would buy it, because the alternative would be 10x more expensive.
That's the future if the government stopped regulating these corporations. They've already PROVEN that there are no ethics and no standards for business, and if anything goes, then watch as your freedoms are stripped away, because you can't afford to buy from anyone but the big guys.
I see you advocating for a dismal future for this country, by giving countrol to the billionaires who run their companies without a conscience. You need to start paying attention to what these companies are doing today, because it's a good indication of what they would do without regulation.
