Whats going on with Handcamp has nothing to do with Lucky. Handcamp is the number 1 focus for KATX, but that doesn't mean that property is the number 1 focus for outside 3rd party companies. Vale doesn't care about gold, they care about copper, as thats what they process at their massive facility in Newfoundland. Both Rusty Ridge and Lucky have what appears to me massive copper deposits in them, and while compared to what Handcamp could be, they might not be worth as much, compared to other copper deposits around the area, they are worth alot more. So for Vale, the copper properties would be all they would be interested in and would be of far more interest than Handcamp.
Considering Vale already took the land around lucky, and that Ken can't answer any questions about Vale, it appears to me something big is going on behind the scenes of both companies. Also, Anaconda is already mining their own gold property and sending it to the Rambler mining process facility that is not far down the road either untill they get their own facility fully online. So I don't think Anaconda would be in the process of looking for more gold properties right now. After they bring online their own property, then maybe, but they got a pretty full plate right now with getting their own facility online as well as mining their own property. Anaconda is not a major mining company in Newfoundland. Vale on the other hand is and has plently of resources to JV with companies in the area that have promising looking properties.
