SL - Well I ahve taken my Portege downstairs to the pool area and that must be 250-300ft away.

I have used it in my bedromm which is say 45 ft away but it has to go through our 2nd bedroom.

in both cases it works just fine and no fall off in speed.

I'l try it out a little further away to see just how far it goes today.

I have to admit to being a major techie but 802.11 is really really good fun. I still get a thrill using it since it just doesn't seem possible especailly for us who once used 300 baude modems!!!!
