The system is encrypted so I don't think security is an issue
Multiple wireless hubs exist on just about on every block in a neighborhood with cable internet access. My employees did a test with a laptop with PC card installed and drove around seeing how many peer to peer servers that they could see in the laptop's network neighborhood. The numbers of potential computers to be hacked was large with more then one choice available no matter where they drove.
