I used to enjoy my commute to Austin back in the day...it was my "alone time" and actually there were times when the drive seemed to be too short. Nowadays, all I can think of is get me the hell off these roads! It's not just Austin though...we have the same problem here.

Great minds think alike, Ally...for I, too...have thought when I'm ready to give up my house it might be cool to move downtown. Not in Austin though...I'm thinking right here in SM.

The sad thing is...I do not see the rail system alleviating the traffic problem..instead I see it adding to it...and still costing us hundreds of millions..Hmmmm..:-(
