COCO HIT - Corinthian names new CEO/president; CFO resigns

NEW YORK, Nov 18 (Reuters) - Corinthian Colleges Inc. (COCO.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Thursday named Jack Massimino as president and chief executive, succeeding David Moore.
The company, one of North America's largest post-secondary education companies, said in a statement Moore will continue as chairman of the board.
It also said Chief Financial Officer Dennis Beal has retired. Bob Owen, the company's controller, will act as interim CFO while a search is conducted for a permanent successor.
