Screw the buyback, I want to pick up some more shares if it drops back a bit. They can announce the buyback after they repay the debt on their LOC in full.
I'm not real confident we will be able to buy more but I do have a couple orders in the low $5.5 range. May move them just a little depending on how things look.
My last purchase was at $5.6399 (I think last week sometime) so all those "99s" today weren't from me nibbling. My guess is it is just an MM frontrunning a bigger block of shares for sale.
But even when this slips back a little bit, seems the bids come in pretty fast. Would be nice to catch everyone napping and have a seller at least whack it back to $5.5 ahead of earnings.
The near-term cashflow expectations gets me excited. Hopefully that show up on the balance sheet in the Q too as much as earnings and other stuff...
Another new closing high! Think that's 7 out of last 8 days. And closed at or above previous close 13 out of last 14 trading days. That's almost 3 weeks! Nice getting a new high in the morning and at the end of day to keep that "MPAA YAY!" chant going.
My wife is even starting to get into it LOL.
PS- still disappointed the VMC board hasn't been on this one good. It IMO is probably the best microcap value play I've seen since SMID around 50-70 cents in late 2008 and other than Gilead and I think Nelson, it has been real quiet on this one. Maybe many are in but not talking about it. Guess we may find out on earnings day whom else may be in. Got 9 marks now :-) Not big upside but oh so much downside protection and strong single digit returns IMO easy to hit regardless of market unless we get a complete meltdown.
The only hiccup in the upcoming Q report I can see is if Joffe was talking out his arse at the investor conference (re margins and debt repayment). But I don't think that's the case since his subtle comment was AFTER the Q ended.
