Yes!! My brother went for his masters at Texas State so I've spent a little time in San Marcos. I didn't know George Strait got his start there...how cool is that? I know he used to play Gruene Hall alot as well. Did Cheatham used to have a restaurant too? I thought I remember having dinner there.
I passed that place off to Stock Lobster and it is a place we want to visit on her next visit. My cousin Charlene was good friends with Georges wife...it is a shame they had to move away because of the accident ..:-(
