Ryan Bingham wrote the theme song, "The Weary Kind". He has a groovy band that plays around Austin (and all around the country) called Dead Horses. They're great! He's in the movie as well...he plays the lead singer in Bad Blake's (Bridges) back up band when he plays the bowling alley in New Mexico.
