In the last five years, or so, there is finally a mild "raprochement" with the Chinese, even military supply agreement with the Chinese, except some systems that have been vetoed by the US. The same with India, maybe it has to do with both of these countries having muslim minorities that are giving them some problems. It was the same with France when France was bogged down in Algiers and tried to get back the Suez canal. Once these problem were solved, the cynical French turned around, of course. Expect the same "national interests" first, moral considerations, never, from these two countries.
