I don't know about you and gilead but I got in thinking of the longer term and yeah paying 10% more than it was a couple of weeks ago may bother me now but in a couple years if it does as good as I hope my thinking will be why didn't I just pay up a little more for more shares back then :-).
A couple of years ago the market cap was a couple multiples higher, they had lower sales and were in the process of moving operations abroad. They keep increasing market share and margins and the market should continue growing so I don't see why in a couple years they couldn't be a few multiples of where they are now.
I may not build up too much more before they report in February in case some people don't foresee the seasonality and panic out plus they seem to run into one time charges quite a bit so you never know. I got in at 5.55 and got a little more at 5.65, I hope to average down now so keep talking bad about the company for a little while anyway :-).
