Initially intended for the general aviation sector, if the prototype is successful, the concept could appear on larger, passenger aircraft.

if they can adapt the design for use with large-scale passenger aircraft, that's a lot of revenue to be generated as the world modernizes its fleets.

think about it: lightweight (composites) and... sea-worthy. :-)
