Because it is a very very crude version. It demonstrates the theory works but needs cleaned up so it can be installed easily and doesn't cause conflicts with other programs...at least that is how I understand it.

Mr Copeland stated that the early version which was effective, and has continued to be effective was a cobbled together batch of code that works, but is not at the kernel level and therefore much more obtrusive than it can be. As a revolutionary technology, EXOBOX's AV needs to be transparent to the user, which requires it to be coded to work at the lowest level, at the kernel.
Apparently there are only about 5 companies capable of coding reliably at the kernel level and EXOBOX is in bed with one of them.
