They couldn't really bring it below the .0025 mark. That is where the 20 sma is and kind of acts as support.

Any lower then that, with no reasoning, everyone would cry 'foul' and attention would be brought on.

Plus, as the other poster stated, the mm's do not have the shares to bring it down. They would have to smother the bid with those ridiculous 5,000 trades till it reached bottom.
