Chris- spreads have gone from highs two years ago to record lows. Absolutely no fear in the equity or Debt markets. After the AmEx allowed Delta to charge $600m on their card, the DAL spread dropped a whopping 38 bp in a week...Some hedgies got whacked being short both the stock and bonds. (but hey, now a forced dilution from issuance of new shares is coming..)

Yes spreads have collapsed. I just sold a third of my junk holdings. Now watch the spreads shrink even more
