What are the CUSIP #'s for the Lehman Brother's bonds you are talking about and that article sited? Do you know CUSIPS? I think you're on to something. Lehman isn't quite dead, nor do I think Barclays is going to be served well by allowing Lehman Brothers to become extinct. It's not worth the bad blood. Instead I think Lehman Brothers is going to be to Barclays what the Knights of the Round Table and King Aurthor were to Rome.
Why should we listen now to the brokers who told us everything was "OK" last year when it wasn't. Why should we listen to them now when they are telling us everything is "bad". In fact, if my logic is correct, we should be buying the stock when the experts say not to.
90% of all mortgages are paid on time every month (CNBC). Just think how difficult it must be for home builders to compete in this housing market with the home inventory at these levels. I am feeling more confident since the big players are taking some positions here at good valuations and that some of the assets that are being released back to investors. Wonder if they are holding any of the Lehman Trusts?
I suggest we keep our sell limit orders in, well above the ask for all the shares we hold, to lock them up and keep them from being borrowed from other Brokers to be sold short on the market. We have a small supply as it is so let's hold tight!!
