CorpInfo, I am not long by the fundamental standards, there is nothing but horse s**t and a lot of window dressing out there. The basis for a healthy economy is Jobs. Factories are gone from US, we need to generate 150k jobs per month just to satisfy the population increase alone, the jobs created today are minimum wage pay that don't even pay the bills, soooo are we saying that US corporations will have good earnings selling their products to whom? It has to be to the rest of the world because Americans don't have jobs or saved money or home equities left to borrow on. Or do you think that the 1% of the population which happens to control 90% of the wealth will support our economy and its taxation system? Take the time and observe the public and their behavior, it will show you whole a lot more than the news or government will. I will say this again, the only stock which will always has performed for me since 1960's with great dividend, but people "dumb money" avoid, is MO Altria.
