I thought her situation was interesting vis a vis your earlier comment that they are still working through all the possible applications for bavi. What caught my attention was that the doctors said that they said that they were aware of bavi and indicated a possible role in the treatment of viral encephalitis -- presumably if caught and treated early enough.
Terribly sad for the family. We're getting to the age that we're about to lose a bunch of us. Strange because not so very long ago we were all so very young...
