Luckily... much of our latest storm system has already dropped most of its rain over our area...and is now dissipating. Look for decreasing rain and a drier afternoon. Daytime highs around 48 degrees. Cold air never made it to the Gorge below 2500 feet this morning- so no major travel problems are expected. With very little moisture to work with, the Gorge should stay mainly dry-- and colder later this afternoon-- strong east winds in the Western end of the area. Only a slight chance now of any snow or freezing rain around midday..when colder air may arrive.
Tonight and tomorrow will remain partly cloudy with overnight lows in the 30s and daytime highs near 45 tomorrow. Note: There is a slight chance of freezing rain in the valleys on Friday morning when the next storm system moves in. However, timing of the start of the precipitation is not certain.
