Sign Professional Services Agreement with
Engineering Consulting Services, Inc.
Knoxville, TN-September 29, 2009- Trend Technology Corporation (OTCBB:TRET) and Americas
Energy Company (AECo) announced today that AEC has entered into a contract for professional
engineering services with Engineering Consulting Services, Inc (ECSI). ECSI will oversee all of our
engineering, site planning, permitting, environmental planning, risk management and mine optimization
plans. ECSI's Headquarters are located in Lexington, Kentucky. With four additional offices strategically
located throughout the state of Kentucky.
“When we started putting our business plan together we set the expectation that we wanted to
work with the best of class in our industry. We are exceptionally happy to bring Steve Gardner and the
ECSI family aboard. Their 25 years of experience in the coal industry will assist us in operating our
projects at the highest level of efficiency. As we begin operations next week on the Hance seam at the
Upland Church surface mine project in Bell County, Kentucky we are confident that the ECSI team will
insure that our mining plan produces coal at the highest levels attainable ” said Chris Headrick, President
and Co-CEO of Americas Energy Company. Mr. Headrick added, “Americas Energy Company’s plan is to
push forward with our mine plan and begin exploiting our high grade coal reserves. In the next 60 days
we plan to begin producing coal from the Harlan seam on our Rocky Branch permit. To view sample

we also plan to initiate our core sample drilling for our exploration permit on 4,571,000 million tons of
proven metallurgical grade coal in Bledsoe County, Tennessee.”
