Unless John and Doug are liars the CC Projects will always generate more income than mining operations.
See the CDM document.
Doug did not discuss 8 digit REvenues from our first CC Project merely with personal IHUB posters and investors, he released that info in his CEO letter from website for all to see as an Official Document.
Should this project be approved as expected, the carbon credits available for the project can be forward sold and we are advised the proceeds of such a transaction would result in eight(8) figure proceeds. These proceeds will allow Sierra Gold Corporation to develop and complete a 20,000 acre Kiri project as well as supporting all of Sierra Golds other activities.
The CDM document shows not only do we get 8 digit income it recurs for 3 years and increases 400% after that for another 4 years.
Ultra conservative calculations of the CDM Document if CC's were worth 10.00 would generate 3,000,000 X 10.00 = 30 MILLION DOLLARS.
That is just for year 1.
The 10 villages and 3500 people to benefit from the project are tied to the CC Project # 1 alone.
They have nothing to do with our Mining Operations but our Agri Projects will likely be used to help feed them.
Unless Doug lied on his CEO letter and the CDM document, Mining Revenues will never match CC Project income.
The first CC Project with even conservative price of carbon should generate a half a billion dollars in 7 years which does not include timber sales.
The CDM Document says it will generate 3Mil CC's in the first 3 years and 12 Mil CC's in years 4 to 7.
Timber harvesting occurs in years 3 and 7.
Doug can say our main business is Mining and may even intend it to be but if the CC Projects produce the Revenues the CDM document shows it can, the rest of the world will disagree.
This is just our first CC Project and the next two continue to get bigger.
Our mining Operations will continue to grow but will never generate those kinds of Revenues
1 kg of gold = 35.2 ounces X 1100 = 38,720
10,000,000 divided by 38,720 = 258.26 kilos
It will take 258.26 kilos of gold to generate 8 digit income from gold extractions.
Last year our best extraction month was maybe 2.5 kilos from all Mining Operations combined.
This year looks to be much better but we would need to produce 37 Kilos roughly per month for 7 months to generate even base 8 digit income if we were able to keep all the Revenues.
WE have JV's and the local chiefdoms and goverment in SL that all get a piece of the gold extraction pie.
WE may get to 8 digit income from mining some day but it looks to be a long way off and our CC's look to produce mid 8 digit figures annually not base 8 digit figures.
Mining is receiving a lot of attention as we are about to begin Operations once again and so it should be.
Shareholders are optimistic for better results this year.
Mining will not affect stock price nearly as much as CC Sales and development will.
Once the first CC Project forward sells and actual figures are announced we are due for a massive run IMHO unless it is downplayed by management.
We still have 2 more CC Projects in the works.
Mining is good if it improves drastically but will not hold a candle to CC Project REvenues in a commodity expected to exceed 1 Trillion dollars.
There is huge money following the carbon industry and investment companies are already recommending companies expecting to profit from it.
We will start getting publicity once our first CC Project sells which is bound to draw in new investors.
Companies and investors that have no interest in Mining at all will be buying our stock due to the CC Market alone IMHO.
CC activity has not been forgotten, based on the last 2 FR's activity for our first CC Project is increasing not decreasing.
FR Dec 3rd states
We have received inquiries on carbon credit project SL1 and are in early stages of discussions.
FR Dec 17th states
While activities continue in Copenhagen at COP 15 we have received inquiries from numerous sources on SL1 and continue discussions.
We advanced from enquiries on CC SL1 to receiving numerous enquiries on SL! in just 2 short weeks.
Its been another 2 weeks since then. I wonder if interest continues to grow in SL1.
