I was talking to my old boss in Portsmouth this afternoon. He said the word in town is someone has questioned whether Laidlaw meets the EFSEC definition of "owner". Supposedly if they don't it may require the resubmittal of the permit. There was also a upset over a diagram included in the permit submittal showing the entire powerline schematic for the state. This diagram has been classified by Homeland Security and is not a public document. He said these were't big issues but an indicator this application is getting a close scrutiny.
To me the problem with the diagram is EFSEC's problem and not Laidlaws's fault.
