You may be right about mismanagement and wasted money but at least you acknowledge that the money was spent at least trying to make this project a success.
Why? Because they are sitting on an ocean of copper, gold and silver. Mistakes can be corrected. Management can learn or be replaced but those ore bodies can't be found just anywhere.
all the equipments they used to design the mill does work. we are adding more parts to improve recovery and to further process the ore but the equipments they are using are not discarded. you usually start with a simple design to get something working then adjust along the way...plus there are other ways of recoverying copper, they just chose the floatation method first because of silver and gold.
