Sounds like a sound investment strategy. Me and a couple others on the LLEG (my cash cow) board are talking about buying some cheap property in NH near the facility to put a willow farm for the biomass. Could be a VERY cheap and lucrative long term investment. We'll just have to see how long it takes to get the plant under construction. Willow has a 3 year cycle or so, but that's quite a ways away.

Locally another friend and I are considering buying a cheap plot of scrub rock land around here and trying to start a solar cooperative. Buy solar panels and such in bulk and each person would basically own rights to whatever set amount of power they purchased. We're trying to figure our ways around the solar credits and such to make it very appealing. Based on current model though, it would take about 10+ to become profitable, but the long term and project life would be beneficial.

I stumbled upon this the other day and bought 25 long term shares. Seems to be a win win situation in the long run, plus it is gaining value. Any thoughts.. ticker: BDJ
