PR: Not much, but some positive....
While good news, it's also disappointing that today's PR only reports on something that is a relative sideshow to the main event. With that said, let's take away the positives and the new factual information here:
1) They advised that we did recently produce and ship 500 tons.
2) Gold and silver credits are good, more than we expected.
3) We know the name of the smelter (Asarco).
4) We know the name of the assayor (Jacobs Assay Office).
Interestingly, (I just received the PR email from CM), in the sentence below the assay results table, he highlighted the words "previously shipped". So for anyone thinking that we have only sent 500 tons, it seems he's stressing that we have sent more than that. Now (and here's the failing), how much more is anyone's guess....
So, while I would have hoped for more, at least we got this. And although it's meager, for what it is it's very positive. In a way, this is like being a starving man who is getting fed a one ounce portion of the best steak in the world. It's great, but when viewed from a P.O.V. of absolute protein intake, definitely not sufficient to sustain one for very long. As good as this is, we need more. I've already sent an email to Charles saying as much. Probably won't do much good, but it can't hurt to let him know that basically, we are still not placated by this.
