I think your putting too much weight on the website. Websites are nice and all, and a very powerful tool, but right now if ours is slightly up to date it's pretty meaningless. Whats most importan is company news via PR and what they are doing in the field right now. Now if our website is a bit out of date. Updating websites cost time and money, so if that lags behind a little thats ok, it wont change anything if good news comes out.
We should get news this week, but that doesn't mean it will be the JV news. Which you pointed out that next monday might be a posiblity. And it very well could. My thinking would be that if they don't release it this week, they might as well just go ahead and hold it till Jan. December is a dead month in general anyway on the markets, and the week of christmas, besides being a short week to start with, will have very low volume and traders across the board. Same with the week after christmas too. It would not be a very ideal time to release major company news in the middle of major holidays and short trading weeks, on top of the fact its the end of the year and alot of players have their money on the side till 2010 for tax reasons.
So if we don't get the JV this week, in my opinion we mostlikely wont hear about it until the first week of 2010. Which I think would be a better time to release news like that anyway. More players with more money in the market looking to get back in....no more holidays in the short term to have to worry about, and no end of year to distract investors.
