You're right, I'm not very familiar with SIAF.. Sounds like I need to get to reading though. Seems like they have a pretty good thing going.

I'm long SIAF.PK, and I agree that the dividend is just a way to increase credibility and get to the OTCBB. It will probably be something tiny.

I think it would be nice if some of the china small caps that have powerhouse balance sheets would start paying tiny dividends (or buying back shares). It gives credibility to the operations and reported results, and credibility is the one thing that keeps most of them selling at lowball P/E's.
