the oath is to protect the constitution of the USA -- the entire government failed us on 9/11 -- for the past 30 years, it failed to recognize that the primary function of the federal government was national security -- only Reagan was able to move the country toward strengthening our security and he was fought tooth and nail by the congress
Bush will get credit for a long past due and major overhaul of our security systems
Plenty of blame to go around for 9/11 -- no one escapes fault
