bull -- strategically, it was necessary to have a base for military operations in the ME in order to control events and win the WoT -- no other country fit the bill as did Iraq -- and SH just played his hand completely wrong -- and much to our benefit
I will not post the long list of "whereases" included in the Iraq war resolution passed by congress -- they include all the "facts" known at that time
