Its not that easy to just cancel the commons.. They have to get approval from the judge to cancel commons and with all the pending lawsuits, there is no way the judge is going to allow that. It will be against the law.
Moreover, as many have speculated, if Bonderman is indeed running the show, then there is no way he would want commons canceled anyway.
I agree with your opinion Chiron.. Walrath has waited long enough and since the SJ is on the docket for the 18th.. This might just be the all important Omnibus that we have been waiting for. But if she pushes it into Jan, we might see some panic selling and tax-related selling but if she does rule on the SJ, we should reach new highs for this year!! The 4 Billion + 3(or more) Billion in Tax refunds effectively makes A> L and they cannot cancel the commons. This will also push everything to a settlement quicker as the general sentiment at the whole lawsuit will change. WMI has been winning all motions and its time to win this SJ!!
