Squalamine has been kicking around for a long time but has not yet shown efficacy against cancer in any controlled clinical trial.
The trial in NSCLC was essentially a flop (despite GENR’s spin to the contrary), and the trial in prostate cancer is operating at a single site on a shoestring budget. In short, I consider Squalamine’s chance of making it as a cancer therapy to be slim at best.
