OK now I know I talking with another Bush supporter who takes things on faith.
Let's see if you can understand that many of the fighters we are fighting in Iraq were former Bathist's who want to stay in power. We are also fighting insurgents who hate us and are coming across the Iraq border to kill our troops. Plus since we have attacked we have created even more al Quada because Bush's actions are a great recruiting tool for them. Plus as we kill more and more innocent Iraqi's they tend to resent it.
As for Saddam being in power today I would prefer in compared to the alternative. He did not have WMD. Was relegated to prancing on front of his bedroom mirror with Viagra and western movies. Was held in check for the past 12 years and was no threat to his neighbors.
Of course you feel that we are better off with 1100 dead US soldiers, over 28,000 wounded (source McGlaughin report) soldiers, 100,000 innocent civilians dead. I'd rather have those people living. You want them dead.
