Still forward, I think Intel has many teams many ideas, I don't think they were stupid enough to create a p4 again.. but what do I know :)

Very little. Even if Larrabee was a runaway smash for high
end add-in graphics cards the additional revenue and profit
for a company Intel's size is marginal. However Nvidia and
AMD's graphics division got a major break - the high end
is where they make money when they make money at all.

Intel gpus don't sell on performance so no real damage. As long as they can be integrated on a chip it doesn't have to be Larrabee.
