VEM going where no drill has gone before! Historical exploration of the Esquilache mineralization has been via adits and cross-cuts at relatively shallow depths that have been targeted on veins exposed on surface. There has never been any surface drilling to explore for stockwork zones associated with known veins or at depth where the major structures are projected to coalesce. Mineralization at Esquilache is mesothermal in origin which signifies that the depth potential for economic mineralization is much greater than in the typical epithermal polymetallic vein systems.
