The smartchip envelope could be used for much more than distributing DVDs and games. It is something the USPS would be very interested in implementing (scanning = automatic billing for postage). The software GZFX would use would combine the queing system with an algorithm to minimze shipping distance - every time the product is scanned at drop-off point, the next address would belong to that envelope. If there is no next address, the address of the one GZFX warehouse would come up. With regards to broken/scratched games - people who receive these would be put at the top of the list to receive the same title. The broken DVDs/games would be sent back to GZFX (they'd have no next address).
