It's good to see the company make the distinction, but, I find, people who aren't being entirely honest - aren't likely to "fess" up.

Good to see, but doesn't put the issue to bed, for me at least. Others may think differently.

Ok, so these are the same companies. If you look at the two original sites, the Chinese name is exactly the same, and they are also the same in translation, so it's safe to say the article you posted is about CKGT.

My question now is why would all of this news I'm finding about fraud be about CKGT specifically, with no mention of Yingxia, if CKGT was not involved? Why would the people in charge of the investigation tell us that the investigation of CKGT was still ongoing, if it were not true? Why would the lady answering the phone at CKGT tell us that she had never even heard of the situation we were asking about, when obviously she has? Everybody here seems to know that something is going on with CKGT but no details are forthcoming yet.

It is clear to me now that these are the same companies, CKGT and the company that has been implicated in investment fraud in China. What's not clear at all is the outcome. If everything turns out to be okay and I miss a home run here, so be it. There are a lot of cheap chinese microcaps out there. Why risk capital on one with legal problems?

ETLT was another Chinese microcap that looked cheap a year ago. The only problem was a lawsuit waiting to be resolved. Just looking at the filings from back then, I realize I would have been interested in the stock, because the lawsuit didn't seem that serious and the company had a ton of cash. It appears that the ruling was unfavorable although affordable, but the company just refused to pay it and stopped filing, with no repercussions for the management because they owned most of the shares and had all of the business' assets in Chinese banks.

The ETLT lawsuit showed up in the filings; I'm assuming because the lawsuit was in America. None of this news about CKGT is showing up in the filings; I'm not sure why.
