I see that WOod agrees with you on no need on price drop dd...and I might remain silent and agree as well if GZ had/would play up that offering in their service but I do not think that they have exploited this point well enough to be jumped on by potential new subs out there.The basic 3-out plan is what I believe catches the eye with them.6-out plan needs to be played to the hilt and soon!....JMHO....Simple

People aren't fools - the value behind the 6 game deal is very deceiving. People a) take vacations b) have other periods throughout the year when they are either unable or unwilling to be involved in a DVD exchange program. Nobody wants to be locked into a yearlong commitment - especially when the person is likely new to this type of service. Unfortunately, the currently slow service is likely to prevent monthly subscribers from switching to the yearlong service. In summary, the lack of mass foolishness is the reason this "great deal" isn't a big contributor to GZFX's subscriber totals.

Although $222.00 is the best value, the average person only sees the short term, (i.e. what am I taking out of my pocket today, which is really why a monthly payment schedule works well in general as you already know. The item may cost 40,000.00 but the average person will say , well I can make payments of 200.00 a month over x number of years for that item. Same of course with Gamez. Though 222 is the best value most people would rather take out a little money today 18.50 rather than 222, even though 222 is the best value.

I think that at least in the short term say six months, if people could see the $15.37 or so (or say $16.00) it will be an eye catcher for the general population that could additionally buckle all the competition coupled with a consistent advertising campaign. We could then go back to 18.00 or 18.50 once we've cleared some ground.
