Although I still have a good chunk of EVG and expect to do well with it, particularly because most was accumulated under 50 cents, parts of that letter made me throw up in my mouth a bit. For instance, he did not mention why the PP was a bought deal -- it was way under the then current market price. They could easily have done it close to $1.50, but I guess that wouldn't have rewarded their buddies so much.
For me, EVG is now a case of a great deposit making up for less than stellar management. What really bugs me the most is the way they sucked us investors into thinking they were shareholder friendly with the frequently updated website, then showed their true colours when it suited them.
