in talking with susan today about the lack of PR, she informed me that it was the company's decision and that she respects that decision. i think that maybe more importantly, she told me that there is news coming out on the cigs. they are working on the release now and it should come within 1-2 weeks. i get the sense (just my opinion) that the cig news might be bigger and more important than earnings (i know they are not mutually exclusive, i am disappointed too) and may be related to the land acquisition and distribution contracts (pure speculation on my part).

CSP, let me say first that I've learned a ton from reading your posts. I think you're one of the best investors out there today.

There's no need to be rude. If you can read Chinese you see that the company in question is clearly Harbin Kangda Cactus. I would write the characters here but they just show up as question marks on the board. I took Mandarin for five years, one in China, so I can read pretty well.

I think it's weird that if you try to search for company information in Chinese in China, you get a blocked website and news about fraud. We called the company today, and of course they said it wasn't them, but how many Harbin "Kangda Cactus" companies can there be? We are going to call the police bureau in Dalian this afternoon. Maybe there was a fake company presenting itself as Harbin Kangda in order to dupe local investors out of their money, who knows. I just need a better explanation coming from a more objective source than the accused company's CEO.

You have done an excellent job doing DD on this company. I plan on investing if I get a satisfactory answer to my questions.
